WORKSITE HEALTH & SAFETY MANAGEMENT PLAN – DURING LEVEL 2
Section 1 outlines rules for Studio Based Classes. Section 2 outline rules for Online Classes
RULES FOR STUDIO BASED CLASSES
To access studio based classes you must have fully read, and agreed to these terms and conditions, otherwise access to studio classes will be denied. Confirming you understand and will comply with these rules will need to be made prior to booking in for classes.
SOCIAL DISTANCING
- Please attend online classes if you work or live with vulnerable people, or yourself have a compromised immune system, or any flu-like symptoms
- In keeping with Government requirements for educational facilities, I will run small group classes of 9 known people* (plus me as teacher), standing in 3 staggered lines and 3 rows.
- Each person will maintain distance of at least a 1 m in between you and others.
- When on the Yoga Centre property, maintain a distance of 1 m in between people.
- Doors will only open 5 minutes before class time.
- Studio based classes will only allow people from our region who have been to classes before.
- No newcomers will be allowed to attend during Level 3
CONTACT TRACING
- If I you have not filled out a current studio Registration Form, you will need to complete this before starting class. This allows effective contact tracing to occur.
- I the teacher will take a roll call at the beginning of every class.
- I will comply with Health Authority guidelines should contact tracing be required
HYGIENE
- To reduce any risk of shared transmission, please do not come to class if you are suffering from cold or flulike symptoms, or if anyone in your bubble is or has been sick.
- In any cases of transmissible illness, or isolation, you can join our online classes.
- To reduce any risk of shared transmission, please do not touch the door on entry or exit. I will happily open and close the door for you as required.
- If you do unintentionally touch any door handle, please wipe it down with disinfectant spray provided, and dry it off with a tissue provided.
- If you use the toilet, please spray any door handles, toilet flush, toilet roll holder, light switch, and any taps you use with disinfectant spray provided after use.
- Please dispose of tissues used in the bin outside (by the phone box), or at your own home.
- All attendees will need to bring their own freshly laundered hand towel to class. This will allow for hygienic handwashing services where required. It also stops the chance of sweat being transferred between people. It is also great for catching any accidental coughs or sneezes. It is just good hygiene so please always bring one.
- If you do not bring a freshly laundered hand towel you will need to pay an extra $2 to hire one of ours, which will need to be laundered at the laundromat.
- If you do not bring your own mat, or afreshly laundered beach towel to work on you will not be permitted to participate in the studio based class, and will instead be invited to join an online class.
- All attendees will need to bring their own yoga mat, or freshly laundered beach towel, plus rope/band/tie, blanket if required , and own tennis ball for self-therapeutic work.
- Props and equipment will not be provided during Level 3 Lockdown
- Ali will not be touching people during class.
- Ali will hand out essential oils at the end of class maintaining a 1 m distance.
CLEANING
- The studio will be cleaned down after every class with disinfectant.
- The studio will be fully aired after each class.
NEW CLASS STRUCTURES & PAYMENT SCHEMES
Class structures
- For studio classes, there will be no casual payments or participation available.
- Class minimums will now be 7 people, and maximum 9 people
- Classes will only run once 7 people have indicated they are interested in attending, and then have paid in full for the month in advance of the month starting
- Class places will be allocated on a first pay basis. That means once you pay you are assured of a place in a class.
- Once 9 people have paid, the class will be full and others be denied entry.
- If a class does not reach a 7 person minimum then people who have paid can elect to join another class with less than 9 people, or join an online class instead.
All online payments need to show in my account by 9 am Monday April 27th
Payment options
- Payments will need to be made in advance. That means you will need to pay a 5 week subscription in advance to access class. There will be no casual rates.
- Payments must be made online, or in cash as the exact amount. No change will be given.
- For online payments, the bank account is SADHANA YOGA // 01-0504-0163452-00
- Please write your full name as a reference when making online payments
- Anyone who pays 5 weeks in advance, and cannot attend class, for whatever reason, can join our online class within the specified time of payment
- Seniors and unemployed people will pay $63 for 5 weeks/ 5 classes
- Salaried and self-employed workers will pay $70 for 5 weeks/ 5 classes
- Sunday classes (1 ½ hrs) are $80 for 5 classes regardless of status
- Anyone who wants to do 2 or 3 classes a week please talk to Ali for prices

ZOOM RULES FOR ONLINE CLASSES
Class structures
- You will need to be set up and ready to go, using the Zoom networking system on your home laptop or computer.
- Please make sure you have sufficient wifi coverage for live streaming.
- Do a test-run with friends or family prior to class starting to check you are systems ready.
- Please make sure you have a quiet warm place to practice yoga via Zoom.
- Also, please make sure that pets and children do not add distraction to class settings.
- Only once person from your household can access the class at one time. That means family members and friends may not join in for free.
- For online classes, people will need to subscribe for a full 5 week term and pay in advance.
- There will be no casual payments or participation available during Level 3.
- Once you pay in full, you will be given the link for your designated class.
- Class minimums will be 7 people. That means online classes will only run once 7 people have paid in full for the month in advance of the month starting.
- If a class does not reach a 7 person minimum, then people who have paid can elect to join another online class within the month. If that time is not suitable a full refund will be arranged.
- However, if you miss your designated Zoom slot, for whatever reason, and cannot make the next class that week, or cannot arrange to have someone stand in for you in that week, no refund will be available.
All online payments need to show in my account by 9 am Monday April 27th
Zoom class options: Monday 6pm, Wednesday 2.30pm
The first available Zoom class is Tuesday 28th April

Level 2 Rules
These rules will only need to apply once we are in Level 2 Lockdown
At a Level 2 warning we will maintain all recommended safety points outlined in the Ministry of Health updates, including:
- The Ministry of Health encourages all workplaces, regardless of size, to consider their environment and how they can keep their staff [and visitors ]healthy.
- Maximum class size will be 12 to allow recommended 1 metre physical distancing. This will be measured.
- Doors and high contact areas will be regularly cleaned at the beginning and end of every class
- If someone is unwell, they should not attend classes.
- If someone has returned from overseas and needs to be in self-isolation, they should not attend gatherings of any size.
- To keep up with recommended Contact tracing, I will be keeping a register of everyone in class. If I do not have your full names and phone numbers please provide it at the beginning of class.
- The following people should not attend events of any size:
anyone who is unwell - This includes people who are immune-compromised, such as people with cancer, people who have pre-existing conditions like cardiovascular disease, diabetes or hypertension [should not come to classes]
- Please cover coughs and sneezes with disposable tissues or coughing/sneezing into your elbow disposing of used tissues appropriately in a bin [outside the yoga facility]
- Please wash your hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water and drying them thoroughly, or using hand sanitiser: after using the toilet, after coughing, sneezing, blowing your nose or
after touching public surfaces - keep 1 metre away from other people.
- Avoid coming to class if your have serious health issues or are vulnerable, to diabetes, renal failure, chronic lung disease or compromised immune systems.
- Do not come to class if you are sick
