Come and visit our friendly Yoga Centre in Marton

Director and head teacher Ali Hale Tilley has taught yoga for 16 years. Ali also has an extensive background in Health and Fitness. She can teach to all levels.

Ali reports: ACC states that in 2014 there were 1,700 claims under Sports and recreation instruction (Classification Unit 84500). However, only ten claims had the word “yoga” in their name.

Yet during the same calendar year (Jan 1- Dec 31, 2014), Dance and Ballet had 212 active claims (costing $234,002). Meanwhile Rugby (league, union and touch) had over 1000 active claims costing almost $2,000,000!

If according to ACC, “yoga is not an activity that is specifically measured” why do Yoga teachers have to pay 5 times as much as Dance and Ballet teachers, and the same as Community Rugby instruction?

The Meenakshi Temple is such a cool place – spacious, clean and peaceful.

However, as I was having a darshan (viewing) with the main deity – Meenakshi, I nearly got thrown out of the central shrine by the police.

No non-Hindus allowed (but I was given a pass)!

Day 7 & 8 // Haridwar to Delhi

Day 7 was the group’s last official day in Haridwar. We did yoga on the roof in the morning and got a final group shot taken at our guest house near Birla Ghat.
